UPS Service Engineer

Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality service standards to customers consistently.
• Maintain and nurture strong relationships with clients.
• Coordinate field operations in collaboration with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings with team members before commencing work.
• Report on the performance of AE, Technicians, and Gateway teams to management.
• Offer technical and logistical assistance for assigned project sites.
• Submit vibration analysis reports to both customers and site servers.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations both onsite and remotely to clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and logistical issues across the full product range.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings and proposals for client consideration.
• Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments for assigned jobs and locations.
• Participate in scheduled routine maintenance and any additional tasks as required.
• Deliver 24/7 customer support via telephone and onsite visits.
• Oversee maintenance activities including battery and coolant checks.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in servicing and troubleshooting components.
• Prior knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) or Standby Generators is highly desirable.
• Self-reliant with strong initiative and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication abilities paired with strong customer service orientation.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel on short notice.
• Class 3 driving license is an added benefit.
• Familiarity with general computer hardware and software applications is advantageous.
