TypeScript Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a TypeScript Developer to join our team remotely. This position involves developing robust, maintainable applications utilizing TypeScript's advanced features such as strict typing and clean abstractions. You will contribute to both backend and frontend development efforts using Node.js, React, and Vue frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support TypeScript-based applications across Node.js and modern frontend frameworks like React and Vue.
• Create well-typed APIs, reusable components, and shared libraries to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Perform migration of older JavaScript codebases to the TypeScript language as necessary.
• Produce clean, well-tested code, and participate actively in code reviews to maintain high standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs occurring throughout the technology stack.
• Enhance engineering processes, tooling, and coding standards collaboratively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing production-ready applications with TypeScript.
• In-depth knowledge of TypeScript's type system, including generics and conditional types.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and at least one modern frontend framework (React or Vue).
• Experience with build tools such as Vite, esbuild, and Webpack, as well as working with monorepo architectures.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Comfortable using Git version control and participating in review-driven development processes.

Compensation

The salary offered is competitive and will reflect the candidate's experience, skills, and location, with an indicative annual range of 95000 to 155000 USD equivalent, in addition to benefits.
