Job description
Overview
This role involves creating detailed turnaround plans for refinery and petrochemical maintenance activities, ensuring all safety and site protocols are met. You'll prepare complete work packages for turnaround execution and collaborate with multiple teams including Project Management Consultants (PMC), asset integrity, warehouse, procurement, contractors, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive planning steps addressing safety and site needs for both preventive and corrective maintenance during turnarounds.
- Prepare turnaround work packages ready for execution and coordinate with various teams for their preparation.
- Engage with field execution teams during planning for smooth handover of work packages.
- Manage planning details such as material preparation, inventory purchase requests, and material requisitions.
- Coordinate procurement of non-stock materials and external services, ensuring alignment with PMC and field teams.
- Coordinate turnaround execution schedule with PMC, contractors, and vendors.
- Create initial and final invoice proposals related to turnaround activities using Bio+ system.
- Input and update turnaround job plans into Primavera 6 to generate integrated schedules.
- Develop SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) plans to incorporate into turnaround schedules.
- Provide regular status updates, forecasts, and analysis reports to the turnaround management team.
- Lead the scheduling process and facilitate communication and KPI tracking related to turnaround progress.
- Maintain and improve task libraries for better turnaround efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in refinery or petrochemical sectors, including at least 3 years in a similar turnaround planning and scheduling role.
- Proficiency in turnaround planning and scheduling tools such as MS Projects and Primavera.
- Strong communication, negotiation abilities, and business acumen.
- Must be a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident.
