About the Role
Middle East Technical Solutions Company (METS) invites experienced Transformer Engineers to join our electrical engineering and projects team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time onsite position focuses on transformer design, installation, testing, and maintenance, particularly within underground cable projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage transformer-related engineering projects and oversee electrical network installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate site activities ensuring adherence to technical specifications and project deadlines.
- Interpret single line diagrams, electrical drawings, and other technical documentation accurately.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem resolution on HV/MV underground cable systems.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on power or electrical fields.
- At least 5 years of professional experience working on transformer projects, especially involving underground cables.
- Strong knowledge of electrical networks, transformer operations, and project execution processes.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and documentation.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or similar environments adhering to local electrical standards is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to work effectively under site conditions and meet project timelines.
Preferred Attributes
- Previous involvement in major utility or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
