Job Overview
The Training Coordinator is tasked with managing the complete coordination process of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) training related to the C295 aircraft. This responsibility covers both internal staff and customer-oriented training programs conducted by SAMI Airbus.
Primary Duties
- Serve as the communication bridge between the PSAB training team and the Training Manager.
- Manage and schedule C295 instructors, ensuring their workloads are balanced and their qualifications and authorizations are up to date through the Quality department.
- Design and implement On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs while contributing to the broader SAMI-Airbus Training Plan.
- Support instructors daily by addressing their immediate needs and aiding in effective delivery of training.
- Track and ensure internal mandatory training compliance for SAAMS personnel.
- Guarantee that technical training aligns with SAMI-Airbus standards, regulations, and protocols, updating materials as necessary in accordance with the latest OEM manuals.
- Monitor trainee progress against OJT curricula and customer schedules; identify and escalate deviations for prompt resolution.
- Compile and submit customer reports following standardized procedures.
- Act as the liaison and main point of contact between SAMI Airbus and external parties such as customers, training suppliers, and the Airbus Training Center.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrate a proactive working style and initiative.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic tracking software like JotForm.
- Experience with aircraft systems training is highly advantageous.
- Capable of handling communications with customers in demanding and challenging settings.
- Competent in coordinating team activities effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or other relevant technical fields.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with the C-295 aircraft within MRO or training sectors.
- Strong interpersonal skills paired with effective communication abilities.
