Position Overview
Brunel is looking for a Track Administrator to join a chemical manufacturing client in Corunna, Ontario for a 12-month contract role. This position demands managing the full cycle of time entry for all labor resources using the Track system, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with appropriate cost codes and work structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control time entry processes to guarantee cost accuracy and compliance.
- Handle high volumes of timely data input related to labor tracking.
- Act as the main contact for queries, exceptions, and escalations about time tracking.
- Ensure vendor execution adheres strictly to contractual agreements.
- Lead onboarding and system integration processes for new vendors on Track.
- Maintain compliance with site rules, contractor guidelines, and union agreements.
- Work collaboratively across departments such as Maintenance Work (MW), MCI, and Track experts to enhance the system.
- Design and sustain reports to evaluate and forecast vendor labor outcomes.
- Reconcile labor cost centers each shift and promptly fix any allocation discrepancies.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with vendor timekeepers to maintain consistent labor reporting.
- Organize and lead routine meetings with vendor timekeepers for issue resolution and process improvement.
- Provide training and ongoing support to the Time Entry Support Team and vendor timekeepers to ensure process fidelity and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of Grade 12 education minimum, along with a combined 7+ years of relevant post-secondary education and experience.
- Proficiency in SharePoint and advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive, and Teams.
- Experience working with the TRACK Contractor Management System is essential; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with minimal tolerance for errors.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Exceptional customer service aptitude to handle internal and external stakeholder requests professionally.
- Competence in providing guidance for using present systems, processes, and programs.
- Experience managing electronic and physical files.
- Demonstrated dedication to maintaining safety standards.
