Job Summary
The Timekeeping Lead role involves offering professional accounting and financial support, performing detailed financial research and analysis, preparing regulatory and ad hoc reports including speeches and charts, and supporting audits and transactional processes. Collaboration with groups handling accounts payable, receivable, and client billings is essential, focusing on problem-solving and identifying opportunities for process improvements across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert accounting assistance and financial support for business units.
- Extract and conduct initial analysis of technical and financial data.
- Collaborate with transactional teams to resolve common project-related issues and identify workflow enhancements.
- Support internal and external audit inquiries.
- Coordinate financial analysis efforts across business projects.
- Assist project accounting management with financial operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent required.
- Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, or alternatively 6 to 9 years of applicable work history.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated technical and financial skills essential for successful job performance upon entry.
- Key qualifying factors include substantial prior experience in related financial roles.
Additional Information
This position is authorized for national relocation and requires full-time on-site presence in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
