Overview
We are looking for a skilled Threat Intelligence Analyst to track emerging cyber threats, conduct comprehensive threat research, and provide actionable intelligence to enhance organizational cybersecurity. This role includes creating detailed threat reports, assisting in incident investigations, working closely with security teams, and improving threat detection methods. Candidates should have extensive experience in cyber threat intelligence, familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and a strong background in threat analysis. Prior leadership experience in a team setting is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the cyber threat environment to identify new threats and adversary tactics.
- Conduct research on cyber threats impacting enterprise, telecommunications, and media sectors, and suggest suitable mitigation strategies.
- Generate regular cyber intelligence documentation, including threat advisories, monthly trends, and annual landscape reports along with on-demand evaluations.
- Use the MITRE ATT&CK framework to follow threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures and maintain current situational awareness.
- Develop intelligence needs, enhance collection methods, and refine threat intelligence operational processes.
- Provide support during cyber incident investigations, malware examinations, threat analyses, simulation exercises, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with security operations and technology teams to elevate threat detection effectiveness.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and promote ongoing improvements in threat intelligence workflows.
- Communicate threat intelligence insights and strategic recommendations to technical teams, executives, and stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cyber threat intelligence with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, threat actor TTPs, Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), and Indicators of Attack (IOAs).
- Practical experience using Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs), conducting threat analysis, and supporting cyber incident investigations.
- Proven track record in producing intelligence reports, briefings, and risk assessments for both technical and senior leadership audiences.
- Thorough knowledge of Windows and Linux security, network security fundamentals, and log/traffic analysis.
- Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent communication and technical report writing capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working within telecommunications, media, or critical infrastructure sectors.
- Familiarity with malware analysis, digital forensics, threat hunting, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) engineering.
- Knowledge of cloud and application security practices.
- Relevant cybersecurity qualifications such as CREST or GIAC certifications.
- Capacity to research new cyber threats and recommend detection and mitigation techniques effectively.
