Tendering/Proposal Engineer

Overview

Based in Doha, Qatar, this full-time onsite opportunity is for a Tendering/Proposal Engineer to assist in preparing and submitting tenders and proposals for engineering projects, particularly in the oil and gas industry.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Hold 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in tendering, proposal development, or cost estimation.
• Have expertise in preparing both technical and commercial proposals.
• Must be currently residing in Qatar.

Preferred Experience

• Prior involvement in the oil and gas sector.
• Background in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) or engineering project environments.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess tender requirements effectively.
• Capacity to perform well under pressure and adhere to submission deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents, specifications, and requirements carefully.
• Develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals tailored to project needs.
• Liaise with internal teams to gather necessary technical and commercial inputs for tenders.
• Assist in estimation and proposal formulation activities.
• Ensure all tender documentation is complete and submitted punctually.
• Maintain follow-up throughout the tender submission process to meet all requirements.
• Keep accurate and organized records of all tendering and proposal material.
