Tendering Specialist

Role Overview

Kosol Energie seeks a Tendering Specialist with 1 to 3 years of experience primarily in tender management and bidding processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in Solar, Renewable Energy, Electrical, EPC, or Manufacturing industries, focusing on end-to-end tendering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess tender opportunities from government bodies, PSUs, corporate entities, and private sectors.
• Manage the complete tendering cycle from opportunity identification to final bid submission.
• Prepare and organize technical documentation, commercial proposals, and pre-qualification materials.
• Analyze tender eligibility, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and submission guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical, Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Management departments.
• Draft tender quotations, commercial offers, compliance documentation, and necessary declarations.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tender-related documents.
• Keep detailed records of tenders, Earnest Money Deposits (EMDs), Performance Bank Guarantees (PBGs), and associated paperwork.
• Monitor tender progress, corrigenda, results announcements, and submission deadlines.
• Support the preparation of responses to tender-related queries and clarifications.
• Maintain comprehensive databases covering tenders, competitive bids, outcomes, and market intelligence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of tendering and bidding procedures.
• Strong capabilities in documentation, interdepartmental coordination, and diligent follow-up.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and Bill of Quantities accurately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with GeM, CPPP, and other government e-tendering portals is advantageous.
• Experience in Solar or Renewable Energy sector tenders, EPC work, Electrical, or Manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields is ideal.
