Tender and Estimation Engineer - Electrical

Role Overview

This full-time on-site position requires expertise in preparing comprehensive electrical tenders, cost estimations, and bills of quantities for projects spanning commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. The responsibilities encompass collaborating closely with design, procurement, and project teams to clarify technical specifications and ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical tender documents and cost estimates based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with design and project teams to resolve technical queries related to electrical systems.
• Prepare bills of quantities supporting tender submissions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical engineering standards and specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience applying electrical engineering principles in design, tendering, and estimation for building and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering concepts, including power generation, load calculations, and distribution system design.
• Experience managing specifications, standards, and compliance for electrical equipment.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous involvement in tendering, estimation, or quantity surveying for electrical works is highly advantageous.
• Adept at interpreting technical drawings, BIM models, and detailed project specifications with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
