Job description

Role Overview

The Technician - Power is responsible for maintaining and overseeing power-related infrastructure, ensuring consistent and reliable electricity supply for operations. This role involves working extensively with electrical systems, battery units, and power backup solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supplies) and power plant equipment along with AC/DC power distribution panels.
  • Monitor vital power parameters including voltage, current, system alarms, and overall power availability to guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Conduct routine battery health assessments and perform necessary maintenance tasks to ensure dependable backup power.
  • Carry out backup testing to validate the efficiency and readiness of power backup systems.

Candidate Requirements

  • Applicants are not required to hold a formal graduation degree.

Additional Details

This position entails hands-on engagement with diesel generators, electrical maintenance, site monitoring, and power backup systems within passive infrastructure setups.
