Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to take complete ownership of specific segments within our cloud storage optimization platform. This role involves transforming intricate customer and technological challenges into scalable, impactful product solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams and co-founders, contributing technical expertise and rigorous execution to deliver high-quality releases that benefit some of the world’s largest enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire product lifecycle for targeted platform components, from identifying problems through to product launch.
- Convert complex technical and client needs into well-prioritized and clear product specifications.
- Work hand-in-hand with engineering to rapidly and accurately release significant features.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including Design, Sales, and Customer Success to develop compelling B2B cloud products.
- Regularly interact with customers to understand challenges, validate solutions, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
- Utilize data and metrics to guide product decisions and continuous improvement.
- Engage with founders and senior leadership to provide technical insights and strategic guidance.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of professional experience, preferably around 10 years, particularly in B2B product management.
- Background starting in engineering or a technical role before shifting to product management.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, cloud platforms, cloud storage, or related cloud domain products.
- Proven track record of scaling products from inception (0 to 1) to growth stages (1 to N), ideally within a startup context.
- Experience at a B2B startup that has progressed through several funding rounds or relevant tenure at AWS.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, along with direct customer engagement.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and teamwork capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education from a recognized Tier 1 institution.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Deep knowledge of cloud storage and block storage systems.
- Demonstrated high ownership, energy, curiosity, and passion for building products.
