About the Role
We seek a Technical Business Analyst to spearhead the requirements gathering and delivery of an Enterprise Architecture (EA) repository platform. This role serves as a critical liaison connecting Enterprise and Solution Architects, Platform/SRE teams, development resources, and regional business partners, focusing on converting intricate system structures, governance mandates, and integrations into precise technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather requirements related to EA modeling and content, including application inventories, service dependency mapping, design patterns, diagram types such as C4, sequence, and deployment, plus metadata taxonomy.
- Specify platform and integration needs, covering runtime models for cloud/container environments like Kubernetes and OpenShift, and defining integration specifics such as APIs, data contracts tied to ITSM, CMDB, and CI/CD tools.
- Design governance mechanisms and workflows including automated review processes, versioning and baseline strategies, End-of-Life (EOL) compliance assessments, and dashboards addressing technical debt.
- Coordinate delivery activities and engage cross-border stakeholders by facilitating workshops, drafting user stories, supporting QA/UAT phases, and promoting user adoption globally, including regional teams in China.
Requirements
- Proficient spoken Mandarin/Chinese (full professional level) to effectively gather requirements, lead workshops, and communicate with Chinese stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum of three years experience as an IT Business Analyst within consulting or solution delivery settings.
- Strong grasp of Enterprise Architecture concepts, microservices, application landscapes, and governance frameworks.
- Ability to interpret various architectural diagrams, including deployment, data flow, and component diagrams.
- Practical knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Awareness of cloud and container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and API integration methodologies.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) models such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EA notations and tools like ArchiMate, LeanIX, UML, C4, Sparx EA.
- Exposure to regulated industries such as banking or familiarity with ITSM/CMDB systems.
- Relevant certifications like CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, TOGAF or Agile/Scrum credentials are advantageous.
