Tech Lead (React & Golang)

About the Role

Join our client in Dubai Business Bay as a Tech Lead responsible for overseeing the entire engineering function from architecture through to delivery, while remaining actively involved in coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage technical architectures for frontend using React and backend using Golang.
• Lead, guide, and mentor a small cross-disciplinary engineering team.
• Establish, enforce, and maintain code quality, review processes, and delivery standards.
• Convert product requirements into comprehensive technical roadmaps.
• Decide on essential tooling and infrastructure choices.
• Write high-quality production code, perform pull request reviews, and facilitate team progress by removing obstacles.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of six years of software engineering experience, with at least two years in a leadership or senior capacity.
• Extensive hands-on experience delivering production applications using React and Golang.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing systems for complex, multi-service architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication abilities; comfortable taking full ownership of project delivery.

Additional Information

This position offers an opportunity to lead on architectural decisions while actively contributing to coding efforts. The role is based onsite in Dubai, Business Bay, with an annual salary of £60,000.
