Role Overview
As part of our Security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming atmosphere for our guests and staff. This position emphasizes leadership, dedication, and meticulous attention to safety standards. Every role within Hyatt is important and offers avenues for personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Security team to consistently meet Hyatt’s standards.
- Guarantee the safety and protection of guests, employees, visitors, and hotel premises.
- Perform regular patrols and monitor security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Respond swiftly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, and any security issues.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, security logs, and necessary documentation.
- Provide coaching and motivation to team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, vigilance, and care.
Required Qualifications
- Possess at least 2 to 3 years of experience in Security, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
- Prior experience in supervisory or team leadership roles is preferred.
- Exhibit strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, sharp observation skills, and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Good understanding of security operations, including CCTV monitoring, access control, and emergency response procedures.
- Capable of maintaining composure and professionalism while managing sensitive situations discretely.
- Proficient in English and willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
