Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals to join our team supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties at Fiveways School. This is a full-time, permanent teaching assistant position with part-time consideration, based onsite in Yeovil, England.

Compensation and Schedule

The role is graded at Grade 14 with an hourly wage between £13.05 and £13.47. The approximate pro rata annual gross salary is £18,915, paid monthly in twelve equal installments of £1,576 before deductions. The position is term time only, amounting to 40 working weeks per year.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 31.65 hours per week. Specific hours by day are as follows:

  • Monday: 08:40 to 15:30
  • Tuesday: 08:40 to 15:30 or 16:15 (when attending Continuing Professional Development - CPD)
  • Wednesday: 08:40 to 15:45
  • Thursday: 08:40 to 15:30 or 16:15 (with CPD)
  • Friday: 08:40 to 15:30

CPD sessions are optional and can be attended on either Tuesday or Thursday.

Qualifications and Compliance
