Teaching Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Teaching Assistant based in Dubai to support classroom teachers in the delivery of lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The role includes assisting with lesson preparation, organising classroom activities, and working closely with children individually or in small groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Support educators in delivering EYFS-based lessons effectively.
• Prepare educational materials and organise classroom activities to enhance learning experiences.
• Engage with children through small group or one-on-one interactions, reinforcing literacy and numeracy concepts.
• Assist with behaviour management and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Supervise children during transitions, playtime, and outings ensuring safety and order.
• Help maintain a neat, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress, offer constructive feedback, and support communication with families as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Holds a CACHE Level 2 qualification or an equivalent credential in Early Years Education or Childcare.
• Possesses a minimum of two years' experience within a nursery or early years environment.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of child development principles and early years learning frameworks.
• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, parents, and team members.
• Strong organisational skills and aptitude for classroom support.
• Basic abilities in Microsoft Office and familiarity with educational technology tools are advantageous.
