Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a vital role in supporting operational success to drive store sales and ensuring an outstanding experience for all guests. This involves maintaining merchandise levels, store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The position supports the Merchandise and Operations Managers by emphasizing performance metrics, teamwork, adherence to processes, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Help the store reach or exceed retail objectives by completing tasks as scheduled and ensuring product availability.
• Fulfill compliance and execution targets related to the operational task dashboard, including managing shipment and replenishment activities, merchandise setups, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain consistent and timely attendance.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for teammates, peers, and guests.
• Engage in ongoing training, including brand and category learning, to promote continual growth and enhance sales outcomes.
• Follow all Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and dress code standards diligently.
• Execute merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory counts, and shipment processing utilizing company technology and best practices.
• Drive operational excellence by ensuring assigned areas are well stocked, clearly signed, faced, and testers are accessible.
• Maintain exceptional store standards and cleanliness across sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Safeguard company assets by implementing loss prevention strategies and delivering excellent guest service.
• Complete any additional operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable.
• Comfortable using basic technology, such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Possess effective problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements and Conditions

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• Job involves continuous movement throughout the store including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Regularly lifting, carrying, or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Engage in manual coordination and object manipulation during shifts.
