Overview
Air Arabia Academy in Sharjah is seeking a Synthetic Flight Instructor to provide cadet training aligned with approved operational and training manuals. The role involves conducting flight simulation exercises, managing cadet progress, and ensuring adherence to Airbus and company-specific procedures.
Primary Duties
- Deliver cadet instruction following established operations and training manuals.
- Lead flight simulator sessions, including detailed briefings and debriefings.
- Track cadet development, offer constructive feedback, and suggest further training if necessary.
- Keep comprehensive training documentation and maintain confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with Airbus and Air Arabia procedures during training sessions.
- Stay knowledgeable about current aviation rules, Crew Resource Management (CRM), and human factors.
- Maintain necessary licenses and certifications valid at all times.
- Champion safety, professionalism, and continual training improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- Possession, current or past, of an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), Multi-Pilot License (MPL), or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Airbus A320 Type Rating.
- At least 1500 flight hours on multi-pilot aircraft.
- Completion of a proficiency check on the A320 Full Flight Simulator within 12 months prior to application.
