Job description
Role Overview
This position is a pivotal field role within the Queensland Survey team, focused on producing precise survey outcomes onsite. The role supports project delivery, provides mentorship to junior team members, and contributes to the ongoing success and expansion of the survey team.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute various surveying projects such as construction, topographic, and cadastral surveys.
- Operate and oversee survey equipment like Total Stations, GPS, UAVs, and scanning devices.
- Utilize industry-standard software to generate accurate, high-quality survey outputs.
- Collaborate with Survey Managers and team members to ensure projects meet scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Maintain professional and confident communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Work independently in field settings, resolving issues as they arise efficiently.
- Provide guidance and support to junior surveyors and technicians in both field and office tasks.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of three years' experience in a comparable surveying role.
- Experience with UAV and scanning technology is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
