Job Summary

The role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, galley, and other communal areas. You will be responsible for keeping workspaces, equipment, and utensils orderly and hygienic.

Key Duties

• Deliver attentive and high-quality customer service through detailed individual care.
• Uphold stringent sanitation standards according to company policies, client guidelines, and government regulations.
• Organize cleaning duties and work schedules efficiently.
• Communicate purchasing needs to management with a focus on reducing waste and preventing shortages.
• Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and report any issues promptly.
• Handle linens by sorting, counting, folding, marking, and bed-making tasks.
• Clean and maintain lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Perform floor care including sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
• Transport waste to disposal points.
• Restock bathroom and other necessary supplies.
• Maintain inventory to guarantee sufficient stock levels.
• Sanitize galley and dining areas thoroughly.
• Disassemble and clean steam tables.
• Wash kitchenware including pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
• Replenish condiments and stock as required.
• Assist with food preparation where applicable.
• Prepare beverages such as coffee, juice, and tea.
• Work collaboratively within the team and demonstrate professionalism towards customers and colleagues.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Work Schedule and Location

Employment is full-time with a Monday to Friday schedule; exact hours vary and will be detailed during the interview. Position is based at the Robert Training Facility, located at 23260 Shell Lane, Robert, Louisiana. Applications are accepted only online.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a fixed pay rate of $12 per hour and weekends off.
