About the Role
The Supervisor - Human Resources position at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Saudi Arabia is a non-management full-time role based on Ummahat Island, Red Sea. This role involves assisting with employee relations oversight, supporting management and leadership in resolving HR concerns, and ensuring all recruitment complies with applicable legal and company policies. Confidentiality and adherence to safety protocols are essential, as is maintaining accurate employee records and supporting employee communication and engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the monitoring and resolution of employee relations issues and subsequent follow-up actions.
- Assist management and leadership in addressing and resolving HR matters.
- Ensure recruitment and hiring processes comply with local, state, federal laws and company standards.
- Inform HR management about employee relation matters and address employee and management queries regarding company programs, policies, and HR guidelines.
- Communicate employee relations information, employee activities, policies, and programs to staff.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to employee documentation such as interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Provide logistical and administrative assistance in organizing annual employee surveys.
- Manage telephone calls, taking messages as necessary, and uphold professional communication standards.
- Assist management in recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Comply with company safety policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome guests following company standards and interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
- Use computer systems or point-of-sale devices to input and retrieve work-related information.
- Handle moving or transporting objects weighing up to 50 pounds unaided.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum secondary school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
