Job description
Role Overview
Join our corporate Supply Chain team as a Subcontract Administrator, where your dedication to quality and integrity will directly influence successful procurement and subcontract administration. You will contribute significantly across the full spectrum of subcontracting activities, ensuring that our services surpass expectations while collaborating with a committed and passionate team.
Work Arrangement
This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring attendance in the Chennai office two days per week, with remote work for the remaining 2-3 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and qualify potential subcontractors to ensure suitability.
- Prepare and distribute Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Draft subcontract documentation and amendments, incorporating necessary flow-down stipulations from prime contracts.
- Conduct commercial assessments and evaluations of subcontract proposals.
- Negotiate terms and finalize subcontract agreements.
- Issue approved awards and subcontracts with proper authorization.
- Resolve claims from subcontractors in a timely manner.
- Manage the subcontract lifecycle from initial award through to file closeout.
- Act as the liaison between subcontractors and project managers to facilitate effective communication.

Location
The role is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Note that relocation support is not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two years of relevant subcontract administration experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience working with Federal Government contracts and subcontracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional experience beyond the minimum two years or equivalent education and experience blend.
- Degree focus in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with Deltek CostPoint software.
- Experience dealing with commercial or defense contracts and subcontracts is highly advantageous.
