Role Overview
The position of Student Affairs Manager requires an individual with significant experience and a strong commitment to student welfare. This role entails managing aspects related to student engagement, grievance management, and support systems to ensure a constructive and supportive student environment. The Manager will work closely with academic and administrative departments to support student activities, uphold university policies, and enhance overall student experience.
Primary Duties
- Promptly resolve student inquiries and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the Student Affairs Coordinator on necessary interventions and parental communication.
- Encourage and track student involvement in surveys and engagement events.
- Partner with faculty and leadership to address behavioral or disciplinary incidents and apply committee decisions.
- Oversee attendance, punctuality, grooming, and uniform adherence, developing accountability processes as needed.
- Coordinate with housing officials to guarantee student accommodation and welfare support.
- Deliver professional, timely communication to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate student club activities, campus events, and initiatives that boost community spirit.
- Collaborate with Marketing and PR to showcase student achievements and events.
- Manage alumni relations through networking, mentoring, and event coordination.
- Apply and enforce university regulations related to student affairs.
- Monitor and report on compliance with attendance and punctuality requirements.
- Generate reports and data for institutional reviews, program assessments, and accreditation processes.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience in Student Affairs or equivalent administrative positions.
- Proven practical expertise in Student Engagement.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with students, parents, and faculty.
