Role Summary
The Store Incharge position is a full-time, on-location role at Ras Laffan. The individual will oversee daily store operations comprising the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment following company policies. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels with precision, maintaining detailed stock records, and coordinating with procurement and project teams to secure prompt availability of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise loading and unloading procedures ensuring organized storage.
- Implement measures to prevent stock loss and maintain security of assets.
- Uphold safety and housekeeping standards within storage areas.
- Address internal customer requests and resolve related store issues effectively.
- Prepare and submit regular reports detailing stock status and discrepancies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in store management and inventory control including material tracking and issuance.
- Strong customer service skills to assist internal stakeholders efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with site teams, procurement, suppliers, and management.
- Knowledge of methods to minimize stock discrepancies and protect company assets.
- Experience in warehousing or materials management, preferably within construction, industrial, or facilities management sectors.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems or ERP and maintaining accurate records.
- Attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and adaptability to a dynamic on-site setting.
- Awareness of fundamental safety standards relevant to material handling and storage, following company HSE protocols.
- Preferred educational background includes diploma or vocational certification in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or related disciplines.
