Storage Administrator

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Storage Administrator with over 8 years in enterprise storage, data center infrastructure, and backup environments to manage complex storage and data protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer SAN and NAS storage systems within enterprise-scale data center setups.
• Manage storage capacity planning, maintain performance standards, and ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues promptly, including handling priority incidents (P1/P2) and conducting root cause analysis.
• Integrate virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix with storage solutions.
• Oversee backup systems utilizing technologies like Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid, and Synology NAS.
• Support multi-site data center operations and critical production environments with disaster recovery strategies aligned to RPO and RTO targets.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with enterprise storage administration and backup solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of SAN, NAS, storage connectivity, and high availability storage infrastructures.
• Proven experience in data center environments integrating storage with virtualization platforms.
• Experience with Azure Storage and Azure Backup is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to manage priority incidents and perform infrastructure changes effectively.
• Preferred background in banking or financial services.
• Relevant certifications in storage technologies, virtualization, or cloud platforms are advantageous.
• Experience handling large-scale storage migration and disaster recovery implementations.

Additional Information

• Must be available to work onsite in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
