Position Overview
Are you an experienced Bar Manager, Pub Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor in the hospitality sector seeking improved work-life balance? This opportunity offers sociable hours Monday through Friday, with weekends, evenings, Bank Holidays, and 8-10 days off during Christmas free.
nGeneration Limited is recruiting a Stocktake Auditor or Stocktaker Advisor, ideally with prior experience managing wet and dry stocktakes in bars, pubs, or restaurants. Alternatively, hospitality management professionals with some stocktaking experience are invited to apply. This role extends beyond basic stocktaking; it involves building sustained professional relationships with clients, delivering expert guidance to enhance their hospitality businesses alongside your stocktaking duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular wet and dry stocktakes at assigned venues including restaurants, pubs, bars, and entertainment retail outlets around Stockport and nearby areas.
- Analyze stocktake data and generate detailed reports using EPoS systems to advise clients on optimizing stock usage and boosting profitability.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term client partnerships, offering business advice and support relevant to hospitality operations.
- Manage travel to various client sites within the designated territory, requiring personal vehicle access.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in stocktaking or hospitality management roles such as Assistant Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, Pub/Bar Manager, or Supervisor with exposure to wet and dry stock management is preferred.
- Proficiency with EPoS systems, particularly in running stocktake reports and managing stock items.
- Strong organizational, time management, and administrative skills to ensure efficient stocktaking processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities to liaise effectively with clients.
- Good PC literacy including Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Understanding of stock yield calculations and monitoring stock depletion.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from £26,500 to £28,500 annually, based on experience, plus a competitive mileage allowance.

Additional Information
