Job description
Position Overview
This role supports the leadership of the stocking department by managing stocking operations, addressing issues, and mentoring associates through training. It emphasizes maintaining excellent customer service while ensuring tasks are carried out effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, assisting with product inquiries and decisions, and resolving issues or directing concerns appropriately.
- Coordinate and oversee task completion according to priorities set by stocking coaches and store management; delegate, assist, and monitor progress of daily VizPick processes.
- Evaluate the presentation and cleanliness of General Merchandise and Food & Consumables departments; identify shortcomings and implement merchandising adjustments as needed.
- Maintain strong team communication by leading daily huddles to update, set goals, and track team productivity.
- Collaborate with People Lead to review work schedules and assign associates to areas requiring support across the store.
- Conduct tours with coaches and team members to assess and identify training needs; foster associate development through teaching and constructive feedback.
- Promote a safe and clean workplace by adhering to company policies, completing safety sweeps, and securing displays and fixtures.
- Complete administrative duties such as GTA and Workday tasks while supporting management operations.
- Work alongside Coach and People Lead in performance management, growth discussions, and assist in recruitment and hiring processes.
Compensation
The minimum hourly wage for this position is $19.25 CAD.
