About the Role
Tiro Partners Limited is collaborating with a dynamic startup that recently secured substantial funding to expand their engineering team by adding four staff-level software engineers. The company focuses on creating AI-powered voice agents designed to enhance operational efficiency, accelerate growth, and improve customer interactions for trades businesses.
This opportunity offers a foundational role where you will influence not only the product development but also company operations, customer engagement strategies, and scaling processes.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and delivering core product features across a technology stack that includes Python, TypeScript, cloud infrastructure, event-driven architectures, and third-party integrations. Direct collaboration with customers is essential to gather insights, define solution scopes, and oversee successful implementation.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 to 10 years of comprehensive experience in full-stack software development, with an emphasis on backend systems.
- Proven track record in building and launching AI-driven products, especially involving agentic systems.
- Expertise in Python and/or TypeScript, with advanced skills in asynchronous programming including coroutines and robust production error handling.
- Experience working at early-stage startups (Series A or earlier) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in contemporary cloud technologies, Kubernetes, serverless computing, and distributed system designs.
- Additional advantages include experience in voice AI, event-driven systems, CRM integration, and direct customer engagement.
- This role is not ideally suited for candidates from large, established corporations or those primarily specialized in traditional machine learning or data science.
Additional Information
The position requires full-time onsite presence at the company’s location in Central London, five days a week. The remuneration package includes a base salary ranging from £150,000 to £250,000 annually, supplemented by equity stakes in the company.
