Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug high-quality code to assure scalability and maintainability.
• Create efficient, clean, and standard-compliant frontend code.
• Lead technical discussions, propose innovative approaches, and align solutions with team objectives.
• Drive improvements to enhance team performance and engineering processes.
• Analyze and solve intricate technical problems to support team deliverables.
• Manage medium-sized projects or key components autonomously from inception to completion.
• Identify and advocate for technical enhancements within the team and broader organization.
• Share expertise and promote best practices fostering a collaborative, learning-centric culture.
• Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to junior engineers aiding their professional growth.
• Work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to clearly communicate technical concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum nine years of direct experience in software engineering with a focus on frontend technologies.
• Proficient in Svelte and SvelteKit or similar server-side rendering frameworks like React with NextJS, Vue with Nuxt, or Quasar.
• Strong command of JavaScript fundamentals, Subscriptions technologies (WebSockets, Pub/Sub), TypeScript, GraphQL, and Storybook.
• Well-versed in code architecture and software design principles.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving capabilities for complex challenges.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder interaction.
• A positive mindset with enthusiasm for adopting new technologies and expanding into full-stack engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS Code Pipeline or GitHub Actions.
