About The Role
Moss Spa, part of the Sudima Queenstown Five Mile complex, is seeking an enthusiastic and client-focused Spa Therapist to deliver exceptional spa experiences. This full-time role requires a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week, including weekends, and offers an hourly wage of $30.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of spa treatments such as body therapies, massages, facials, waxing, manicures, and pedicures in a safe, professional, and comfortable environment.
- Maintain flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all spa guests.
- Manage and upkeep equipment and maintain an inventory of product samples.
- Ensure the accuracy and currency of the client database and records.
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Recommend and promote retail products and additional spa services to guests.
- Adhere to hygiene protocols and health and safety regulations.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging market trends.
- Handle appointment bookings, client communications, and maintain client records diligently.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) Level 4 certification (ANZCO Skill Level 3) or possesses a minimum of three years relevant spa therapy experience.
- Preferably qualified with CIBTAC or ITEC certifications or their equivalents.
- Proven background as a spa therapist with practical experience.
- Strong passion for spa services and luxury treatments.
- Experience performing massages, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and face/body therapies.
- Sales experience will be viewed as an advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective team player with strong communication abilities and a positive disposition.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems.
