Role Overview

The Solutions Engineer based in the UAE acts as the technical intermediary linking Sales Representatives and prospective clients. As a product expert on Trend Micro security offerings, you will assist customers in choosing and implementing advanced security solutions while partnering with Sales to nurture client connections. This position demands leadership in security architecture and influencing customers’ technical plans through expert problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide an in-depth understanding of the customer journey with Trend Micro products, ensuring smooth navigation and excellent user experience.
• Prioritize customer success throughout engagement, onboarding, and product experience phases.
• Support and train the sales team by communicating compelling narratives to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Keep abreast of cybersecurity partner ecosystems, including SOC services, cloud service providers, and MSSPs.
• Utilize and empower channel partners through training initiatives to strengthen customer engagement.
• Regularly update internal sales teams on new products and technological advancements.
• Collaborate closely with Regional and Global Product and Marketing Managers to stay informed on the latest product technicalities.
• Conduct engaging technical demonstrations showcasing the advantages of Trend Micro products with strong messaging and presentation skills.
• Enable partners and channels to effectively propose and position Trend Micro solutions to customers.
• Explain complex technical problems and solutions clearly to all organizational levels.
• Apply robust problem-solving to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.
• Forge close relationships to influence clients’ technical strategic direction.
• Conduct training sessions for customers and prospects on Trend Micro products.
• Coordinate with technical support to maintain high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
• Contribute to team best practices, methodologies, and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Continuously improve technical expertise and engage in professional technical communities.
• Participate as a speaker or panelist at webinars, workshops, and industry events, leveraging strong public speaking abilities.

Experience and Skills Required

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering top-tier presales support and tailored solutions providing distinctive value to customers.
• In-depth knowledge of SOC operations, security analytics, cloud architecture, cloud-native application security, SASE, CASB, and Zero Trust models is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with Microsoft O365, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS services is advantageous.
• Experience with security software solutions such as firewalls, content security, intrusion prevention, encryption, data leakage protection, and security monitoring is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
• A passionate interest in cybersecurity and dedication to customer security.
• Good understanding of public cloud technologies like AWS and Azure.
