Role Overview
The Solutions Engineer is vital in the sales process, providing critical technical expertise. Collaborating closely with Sales, this role addresses client data privacy challenges, designs secure solutions, and presents the platform's technical benefits. The position demands deep technical acumen, specifically in enterprise integrations, APIs, and data workflows, along with strong communication skills to engage technical teams and executive stakeholders alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead in-depth technical discovery with Sales, qualifying intricate customer scenarios and developing solution strategies for major enterprise prospects.
- Design and perform customized product demos, technical talks, and interactive sessions that clearly communicate the platform's advantages and differentiate from competitors.
- Manage proofs of concept and pilot projects completely—defining success metrics, overseeing deployment, resolving technical challenges, and documenting business results for leadership.
- Serve as the customer advocate internally, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to relay market feedback and influence the product roadmap.
- Ensure all Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Security Questionnaire responses are thorough, accurate, and timely.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Software Engineer, with proven customer engagement achievements.
- Strong mastery of REST APIs, webhooks, data mapping, and current integration methodologies.
- Practical experience designing, diagnosing, and implementing complex enterprise system integrations.
- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills capable of engaging technical teams and senior executives effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities demonstrated by methodical approaches to uncertainty and communication of solutions.

- Competitive annual salary between 100,000 and 115,000 CAD, based on skills, experience, and location.
