About the Role

As a Solution Engineer specializing in the Digital Native sector, you will act as a principal technical expert in public cloud technologies, particularly Azure. Your role involves leading strategic technical engagements with customers by conducting architectural design sessions, proofs of concept (PoC), and providing expert guidance on best practices tailored to Digital Native customers.

You will work closely with a virtual team to streamline decision-making processes and boost Azure service adoption among clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and proactively engage technical decision makers and influencers within customer organizations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to shape sales strategies aligned with customer needs.
  • Leverage in-depth expertise in customer context, technical domains, and Digital Native industry knowledge to build trust and credibility with clients.
  • Lead complex technical wins ensuring Microsoft technology alignment with evolving sector standards and client requirements, contributing to case studies and reference materials.
  • Utilize internal resources such as demo sites and Customer Success Units and work with product teams to resolve escalated technical challenges and anticipate future blockers.
  • Conduct and manage demonstrations like architectural design sessions, PoC sessions, pilots, and hackathons showcasing Azure-based solutions, positioning them effectively against competitors.
  • Customize and extend architectural patterns to meet complex customer needs and integrate solutions specifically for the Digital Native industry.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 or more years of experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting;
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus at least 6 years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience;
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline along with 4 or more years of relevant experience;
  • OR equivalent practical experience.
