Solar Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Solar Technician responsible for the installation, upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The role involves working on diverse solar projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial setups, ensuring systems are safely and effectively operational.

Key Duties

• Install solar PV panels, mounting structures, electrical cables, inverters, batteries, and other system elements.
• Carry out electrical wiring, connections, and cable terminations following strict safety protocols.
• Conduct site surveys aiding in measurements and planning for system installations.
• Test and commission solar PV systems upon completion of installations.
• Inspect equipment such as solar panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring for faults or damage.
• Diagnose issues related to electrical components and solar systems.
• Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on installed solar units.
• Replace malfunctioning components and execute necessary repairs promptly.
• Monitor overall system performance to detect and resolve efficiency or power generation problems.
• Keep detailed records of installations and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to electrical regulations, workplace safety, and solar installation standards.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, customers, and fellow technicians.
• Ensure tools and equipment remain in proper working order.
• Travel to project sites as required for installations and maintenance.

Additional Details

This position is based onsite, primarily located in Patna, Bihar, India, with a monthly remuneration range from 12,000 to 18,000 INR.
