Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Sales Executive (Associate Client Development Director) focused on serving Investment Banking and Private Capital Market clients. The role demands a solid grasp of the market and client environments, facilitating sales engagement with Investment Professionals, IT, Finance, Risk, and Business Development leaders.
Responsibilities
- Manage your personal sales pipeline and achieve individual targets while contributing to overall team objectives within Investment Banking, ensuring value delivery from your designated region and market.
- Develop and qualify new sales prospects through networking, proactive communication, leveraging sales development teams, and nurturing existing client relationships, maintaining a pipeline exceeding $1 million in opportunities.
- Navigate intricate sales processes involving multiple stakeholders by understanding buyer behaviors, tailoring sales approaches to facilitate decision-making, and leading executive-level negotiations.
- Oversee the creation, delivery, and presentation of proposals and maintain precise sales reporting throughout the sales cycle.
- Address escalations, propose innovative ideas, and implement changes to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in sales management with a consultative, value-driven selling approach, demonstrated success in surpassing sales goals, and experience steering high-performing teams.
- Professional background in banking, expert networks, consulting, accounting, or financial technology with specific experience related to Investment Banking and Private Capital Markets.
- Expertise in investment banks, venture capital, private lending, or akin sectors, preferably through selling enterprise software or direct involvement in private equity or investment banking.
- Proven ability to engage clients via a structured, value-based sales method capable of handling complex multi-stakeholder purchasing scenarios.
- Highly self-driven and entrepreneurial with outstanding communication and presentation capabilities, strong sense of ownership, inquisitiveness, and target-focused mindset.
