Role Overview

The company is seeking an experienced Software Developer proficient in Java to build software applications and products. The role involves working collaboratively within scrum teams, contributing to agile development, completing project milestones and user stories, and following established quality standards to deliver value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in project teams, collaborating with Product Owners to complete development tasks.
• Coordinate with scrum colleagues on design and development activities.
• Analyze, develop, test, document, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Achieve milestones and complete user stories within sprint timelines as per definitions of done.
• Adhere to established standards and guidelines, ensuring high quality and customer value deliverables.
• Learn, adopt, and apply agile software development methodologies and processes.
• Engage constructively with feedback for continuous improvement of process, product, and personal development.
• Provide technical insights to improve product performance, usability, aesthetics, and consistency.
• Conduct code reviews; perform component, visual, functional, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with Technical Support to reproduce and resolve customer-reported issues.
• Execute additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned periodically.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years experience developing fully integrated web applications including UI, database, and networked components.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL Server, IIS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX, and RESTful services.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented software engineering principles with proven experience in implementing and testing high-quality software.
• Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities.
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues remotely or onsite.
