Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your team to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable, and reliable back-end applications and services.
- Take ownership of microservices built in Golang, ensuring optimal performance, observability, and long-term maintainability.
- Maintain a high level of test coverage through unit and integration tests.
- Contribute actively to task prioritization within the team.
- Provide mentorship to peers and promote a culture of shared responsibility and psychological safety.
- Adopt a product engineering mindset by embodying the customer's perspective in technical discussions.
- Engage with product managers and engineers to gauge the impact of platform decisions.
- Create documentation, runbooks, and internal guides to make the platform easier to understand and use independently.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficient in Golang programming and its ecosystem, with sound knowledge of core language principles and standard library.
- Deep understanding of server-side development methodologies, design patterns, and industry best practices.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools including Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, and databases like PostgreSQL or Cassandra.
- Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and address challenging problems.
- Capability to leverage team expertise for growth and to know when to seek help.
- Experience working with large language models (LLM) for coding assistance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
