Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the core development of Daira’s AI-native finance platform. This role involves working extensively with a Go backend and Next.js/React/TypeScript frontend to develop document pipelines powered by large language models (LLMs) that can accurately read invoices and bills, determine applicable tax treatments, and integrate data into client bookkeeping systems through ERP connections. Accuracy is paramount as this infrastructure handles actual financial transactions. From day one, the engineer will have complete ownership of delivering features end-to-end, covering data modeling through user interface implementation. This position is based onsite in Dubai and operates on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy full-stack features involving Go backend services and Next.js/React/TypeScript frontend applications.
• Develop advanced LLM-driven document processing pipelines to extract and categorize data from genuine financial documents such as invoices and bills.
• Create intelligent workflows that correctly reason about VAT, Corporate Tax, and appropriate accounting procedures.
• Implement integrations with accounting and ERP platforms including Odoo and Zoho, building dependable data mappers and adapters.
• Appropriately model financial data including monetary values, currency considerations, and tax details to ensure precision, rounding, and auditability.
• Develop testing frameworks, tracing mechanisms, and performance metrics to ensure system reliability when managing client funds.
• Collaborate closely through detailed code reviews and troubleshoot issues across the entire data processing pipeline.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience developing production-grade software (exceptional recent graduates with substantial project experience may also be considered).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, TypeScript, or Python, with the ability to learn additional languages rapidly.
• Comfort working across full technology stack including backend Go services, React/Next.js frontends, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Strong enthusiasm for building with LLMs and AI agents beyond simple API consumption.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy — able to trace values meticulously and consider edge cases.
• Ability to read and understand unfamiliar codebases and communicate effectively in writing.
• Additional advantage for candidates with exposure to fintech, accounting software, ERP systems, or tax-related domains.
