Job description
Role Overview
The Signalling Designer is responsible for creating and developing detailed railway signaling plans, including layout drawings, interlocking schemes, and circuit designs following applicable safety regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop signaling layouts and interlocking schemes compliant with relevant standards.
- Review technical requirements and prepare or update signaling design documentation.
- Work closely with project engineers and onsite teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Support activities related to design validation and testing.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design issues during project execution.
- Maintain complete and precise design records.
- Contribute to enhancements in the design process and documentation for approvals and audits.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of railway signaling principles and interlocking systems.
- Familiarity with Indian and international railway signaling standards.
- Previous experience of approximately four to six years or more in railway signaling design or related rail infrastructure projects.
