Overview
A prominent pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Nagpur is seeking a Shift Incharge to oversee their production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all production activities during assigned shifts.
- Lead and coordinate the production team to ensure efficient manpower management.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP guidelines, and safety protocols throughout the production process.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and records including BMR, BPR, BCR, and logbooks.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Maintenance, and other departments to maintain high production standards.
- Monitor product quality and production output to meet organizational targets.
- Address and manage production-related problems, deviations, and machinery breakdowns promptly.
- Uphold proper housekeeping standards and ensure equipment compliance for smooth operations.
- Provide training and guidance to production operators to enhance their effectiveness.
Candidate Profile and Preferences
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing is essential.
- Strong understanding of GMP protocols, SOP adherence, and production documentation such as BMR/BPR.
- Proven capabilities in shift handling and leadership of teams.
- Effective coordination and problem-solving skills are required.
- Familiarity with deviation handling, CAPA processes, and validation activities will be considered advantageous.
