Role Overview
We are seeking a cordial and diligent Shift Incharge to oversee the daily operations at our FMCG retail outlet located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This role involves managing customer interactions, supervising product display and inventory, and ensuring smooth store functioning to meet sales objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers courteously while assessing their needs to suggest appropriate FMCG products.
- Ensure products are correctly arranged and displayed on shelves following store standards.
- Maintain the store's cleanliness and organizational upkeep consistently.
- Track stock availability and promptly communicate shortages to supervisors for timely replenishment.
- Process billing and handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.
- Strive to meet or exceed daily and monthly sales targets through effective promotion and customer engagement.
- Communicate ongoing offers, discounts, and promotional schemes to customers to boost sales conversions.
- Verify product expiry dates vigilantly and implement the FIFO method for stock management.
- Address customer questions and resolve complaints effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with warehouse or store teams to coordinate stock refills.
- Maintain accurate records relating to sales and inventory as required.
- Assist in opening and closing store procedures ensuring compliance with protocols.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Applicants should have completed at least 10th or 12th grade; possessing any higher educational degree is a plus.
- Either fresh candidates or those with 1 to 3 years of experience in retail or FMCG sales will be considered.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for customer handling.
- Basic knowledge of sales processes and customer service is expected.
- Familiarity with FMCG products will be advantageous.
- Immediate availability to join is preferred.

Compensation Details
This position offers a monthly salary ranging between INR 15,000 and INR 20,000.
