About Central Earthmoving
Founded in 1985, Central Earthmoving is a vibrant civil and earthmoving contractor operating throughout regional Western Australia. We specialize in civil construction, mining services, and land care projects, prioritizing quality, reliability, and adaptability while ensuring meticulous attention to client needs.
Position Overview
As a Serviceperson at Centrals, you'll collaborate directly with our Heavy Duty Fitter team to maintain the functionality and upkeep of our heavy machinery fleet. The fleet comprises Kenworth 909 Prime Movers, CAT 988 Loaders, CAT and Komatsu Excavators, among other mobile equipment. This role follows a 2:2 FIFO schedule based out of Perth, working both day and night shifts and is open exclusively to Western Australian residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Distribute fuels, oils, and lubricants to stationary and mobile equipment
- Change and clean air filters during routine maintenance cycles
- Assist in scheduled servicing tasks and support maintenance efforts
- Conduct basic mechanical duties and meticulously maintain service documentation
- Keep the service vehicle and adjacent work areas tidy and organized
- Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and operational protocols on site
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a serviceperson within mining, construction, or mechanical sectors
- Comprehensive understanding of heavy equipment maintenance
- Possession of at least an HR Licence
- Physically capable of performing demanding manual tasks
- Strong dedication to workplace safety and teamwork
