Service Engineer

About the Role

Join Kusum Tradex Private Limited as a Service Engineer, reporting directly to the Sales Manager. This position involves frequent visits to customer facilities including factories, workshops, and machine shops to evaluate and address lubrication and cutting oil requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect customer plants to determine lubrication and cutting oil needs tailored to specific machinery.
• Identify and resolve issues related to oil use such as breakdowns, contamination, and performance concerns.
• Advise customers on selecting appropriate types and quantities of oil based on their equipment.
• Provide training to customers on proper methods of handling, storing, and disposing of oils.
• Track customer oil usage and manage the timing for reordering supplies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth delivery and supply management.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum completion of 10th to 12th grade.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to understand machinery basics and read machine manuals.
• Comfortable travelling to industrial plant locations regularly.
• Possess own two-wheeler (bike or scooter) for transportation.
• Keen to learn about lubricant chemistry through on-the-job training.
• Ability to communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand manner to clients.
