About the Team

Join the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Account team to help evolve the platform’s identity solutions and strengthen account infrastructure. Collaborate internationally with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver robust IAM solutions that protect businesses and support Airwallex's rapid expansion.

Your Role

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will be critical in architecting and building next-generation mobile tools, including POS applications and SDKs that enable merchants worldwide to process payments via various international and local methods. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly, focusing on native Android development with an appreciation for iOS platforms as well.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Android applications and libraries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define product requirements and produce technical specifications.
• Own full product development lifecycle as a core contributor.
• Refactor and optimize code and architecture to improve maintainability, extensibility, and reuse.

Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• At least 5 years of professional Android development experience with strong Kotlin proficiency and ability to work with Java codebases.
• Solid grasp of software design principles and design patterns for mobile applications.
• Extensive knowledge of Android architecture components, Jetpack libraries, and modern programming models such as Compose, MVVM, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Advocate for high code quality, testing rigor, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in building and maintaining Android SDKs or libraries.
• Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
• Experience in the payments technology domain.

Compensation

Salary range is SGD 200,000 to SGD 250,000 annually.
