About Logitech and the Role

The Console & SDK team focuses on shaping user interaction with Logitech's products that emphasize workflows, extensibility platforms, developer experiences, and future ecosystem functions. Key products include the MX Creative Keypad and Dialpad, workflow automation tools, developer SDKs, plugin ecosystems, integrations, and AI-powered productivity platforms.
Role Summary
We seek an inventive Senior Product Experience Designer dedicated to crafting software interfaces that enhance Logitech’s hardware. The ideal candidate thinks systemically, enjoys resolving intricate interaction difficulties, simplifying them into user-friendly solutions, especially those integrating hardware, software, AI, and connected ecosystems.
The role involves designing device customization, workflow automation, SDK interfaces, developer tools, and AI-enhanced features, employing modern design flows, interactive prototypes, and close collaboration with engineers.
Responsibilities
- Create software experiences for MX Creative Keypad, MX Creative Dialpad, and future workflow-oriented products, enabling users to easily discover and personalize their devices.
- Develop scalable interaction models linking physical controls with software.
- Design solutions that accelerate productivity by automating repetitive tasks and introducing new work methods.
- Innovate interaction patterns combining hardware, software intelligence, and contextual workflows.
- Support creators, professionals, developers, and advanced users across multiple platforms.
- Develop ecosystem features such as integrations, plugins, SDK experiences, and extensibility frameworks connecting Logitech products to broader workflows.
- Define product interactions with third-party applications, services, AI models, and developer communities.
- Drive innovation in AI, automation, personalization, and intelligent user experiences with trustworthy and intuitive AI-powered features.
- Employ AI-assisted design tools and modern prototyping techniques to accelerate concept development and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders throughout product development.
- Effectively present designs to teams and leadership and advocate user-centered solutions balancing user needs and business objectives.
- Facilitate ideation sessions and workshops to foster collaboration and innovation.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in UX design focused on consumer desktop and mobile software applications.
- Strong foundation in interaction design, information architecture, and systems thinking.
- Proven skill in simplifying highly technical concepts into clear user interfaces.
- Excellent visual design abilities, including typography, layout hierarchy, motion, and interface aesthetics.
- Expertise in creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Experience in designing accessible products following WCAG standards.
- Ability to work at all stages of fidelity from concept to production-ready designs.
- Proficient in designing experiences connecting hardware, software, services, and ecosystems with a holistic approach.
- Keen interest in workflow automation, productivity platforms, extensibility, developer experiences, and connected services.
- Experience using AI-powered design tools and familiarity with rapid prototyping and design-engineering workflows.
- Skilled with tools such as Claude Code, Replit, Cursor, Figma Make, Lovable, and Bolt or equivalents.
- Competent in building interactive prototypes surpassing static mockups and wireframes.
- Basic coding knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Swift, Python, or similar languages is advantageous.
- Understanding of software development and engineering process integration with design workflows.
- Strong communication skills across written, verbal, and visual mediums and ability to present design rationale clearly.
- Experience thriving in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments and solving ambiguous or complex problems.
Portfolio Expectations
A portfolio is required demonstrating systemic thinking, interaction design expertise, aesthetic excellence, and complex software solution capabilities.
Examples should include:
- Complex software application design.
- Integration of hardware and software experiences.
- Workflow, automation, and ecosystem-oriented solutions.
- AI-driven or emerging technology implementations.
- Interactive prototypes and collaboration with engineering.
- Clear articulation of design process from problem identification to solutions.
