Senior Ticketing Agent

Role Overview

The Senior Ticketing Agent will be in charge of managing passenger reservations, fare quotations, and ticket issuance as part of customer service at the front desk. This role demands professional customer interaction via telephone or in person to maximize customer satisfaction, generate revenue, and minimize revenue loss.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage passenger reservations efficiently, addressing customer requests to reduce complaints.
• Organize reservations and reroute itineraries using airline manuals, timetables, reference guides, and tariff books.
• Issue tickets and Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMDs), ensuring correct fare quoting to reduce passenger complaints and financial discrepancies.
• Process ticket refunds in line with station finance procedures.
• Issue EMDs, manage queues, update visas, and handle medical transactions and tariff inquiries.
• Manage processing of rebates and discounted tickets, and review office sales reports at shift end.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of relevant job experience.
• Fluent in English with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office computer applications.
• Capability to build excellent relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Arabic language proficiency is preferable.
