Role Overview
As a Senior Supervisor in Cybersecurity, you will oversee and direct complex cybersecurity operations, ensuring alignment with both departmental and organizational goals. This role involves innovating processes, applying industry best practices, and contributing to the long-term cybersecurity strategy of SPIMACO.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the cybersecurity team in alignment with departmental goals and strategies.
- Initiate and implement improvements to operational workflows.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure team deliverables meet quality standards and comply with company policies.
- Provide management with feedback and performance reports of the cybersecurity team.
- Maintain the performance, security, and reliability of cybersecurity systems and applications.
- Implement effective remediation strategies for cybersecurity incidents.
- Identify cybersecurity threats and risks, working collaboratively with stakeholders to establish appropriate controls.
- Ensure strict adherence to cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures within the organization.
- Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and best practices across the company.
- Monitor cybersecurity systems continuously to protect against risks and vulnerabilities.
- Lead the team in deploying preventive cybersecurity measures.
- Oversee system upgrades and updates aimed at enhancing security measures.
- Coordinate incident response activities involving internal and external teams.
- Regularly report cybersecurity status and developments to management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
- Proficient in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
