Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop contemporary full-stack cloud-native applications with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Make architectural and technical decisions that shape product solutions.
• Lead peer code reviews and advocate for software engineering best practices.
• Enhance continuous integration and delivery pipelines, testing practices, system observability, and operational excellence.
• Manage system performance, scalability, and reliability across platforms.
• Lead incident management and implement process improvements to avoid recurrence.
• Promote AI-assisted tools and methods to boost engineering productivity and quality.
• Embed quality early in the development lifecycle through detailed acceptance criteria and verification to catch issues promptly.
• Ensure deployed features deliver functional and measurable results aligning with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to address complex user challenges.
• Guide and mentor fellow engineers to enhance team technical capabilities.

Required Expertise

• Proven experience in building scalable modern cloud-based applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in designing distributed systems that are scalable.
• Proficiency with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience working with containerization, DevOps workflows, and CI/CD tools.
• A deep commitment to software quality, sound system design, and ongoing improvement.
• Strong mentoring skills combined with hands-on technical execution.

Experience with AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms is considered a significant advantage.
